Rob Logan
I completed an MA in Fine Art at Central Saint Martins in 2008. After graduating, I exhibited regularly for a few years, mainly in galleries in London, but also in France and Austria. I also won several awards, including the Cecil Collins Memorial Award – the University of the Arts’ bi-annual drawing prize.
Over time, financial pressures and the demands of starting a family led me to step away from my art practice. I qualified as an architect and have worked in the profession for the last 15 years, starting my own practice in 2018.
At the end of 2024, I began making art again and sharing new work on social media. Returning to the studio after such a long break has been both energising and rewarding. I’m currently building a new body of work that draws on past ideas while exploring new approaches and materials. I’m interested in how drawing can remain a vital tool for observation, expression and experimentation, and I’m excited to be reconnecting with my creative practice.
